Michael Price McIntyre was raised on the eastern shore of Maryland. He is a film and video editor by training and became interested in pottery in 2004. He has taken ceramics classes at Hagerstown Community College, Frederick Pottery School and Penn State’s Mont Alto Campus. He has trained with local well-known potters and artists such as Ben Culbertson, Bill Van Gilder, Del Martin and Tom McFarland. Michael comes from a very creative family. “FireRobin” was coined by his aunt when searching for a business name for her hand-made puppet company that she founded in Vermont. FireRobin is derived from the family name – Feierabend. Look for Michael at local and regional arts and craft shows!
Tracy A. Barlup was born and raised in Waynesboro, PA. She obtained a bachelor’s degree and a veterinary medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. So, Tracy is a veterinarian by training and became interested in alpacas in 2003 after meeting a local alpaca breeder, Bert Kramer. Alpacas originate form Peru, Bolivia and Chile. They are raised for their fur, known as fiber, which is revered as a luxury fabric by people all over the world. She purchased her first alpaca, Gidget, in 2004 and things grew (literally) from there. Tracy currently owns 10 alpacas and plans to grow her herd even further. Look for Tracy and her furry crew at some local shows and events in 2008!
Tracy and Michael met in the Philadelphia area and married in July 1999. They movied to Hagerstown, MD in January 2000.
Logan Patrick Barlup-McIntyre was born January 18, 2001. He is a very outgoing boy and the light of his parents and grandparents life!!
